Applying for the Dental Council Exam
The Dental Act allows the Council to require an applicant to take and pass an examination or assessment that is set or recognised by the Council. The reason for this is that the Council needs to be satisfied that the applicant is both competent to practise in the scope of practice they have applied for, and is able to communicate in and comprehend, English.
